Kaavi Blues 2008 - A blues festival which is free of charge
The mission of Kaavi Blues association is to promote blues music
in the area of Kaavi and in the wider area of northern Savo.
For this reason the association organises The Kaavi Blues Festival
every year.
Kaavi Blues festival will be held for
the fourth time in June 2008. This year the festival will be a
two-day celebration of blues for the second year in its history.
The festival is still free of charge for the audience, because of
our generous sponsors and the municipality of Kaavi.
The first day of Kaavi Blues will be held 6th of June at the Kaavi
market place.
The main event will be held at Kaavi marina on saturday 7th of June.
There will be stalls for buying food and beer so you won´t get
hungry
or thirsty. Kaavi Blues festival also welcomes Old Vehicles Meeting,
tattoo
artist and blues paintings to the festival. Old vehicles meeting
will be organized
