Kaavi Blues
2009 - A blues festival which is free of charge
The mission of Kaavi Blues association is to promote
blues music
in the area of Kaavi and in the wider area of northern
Savo.
For this reason the association organises The Kaavi Blues
Festival every year.
Kaavi Blues festival will be held for the fifth time in
June 2009. This year the festival will be a two-day
celebration
of blues for the third year in its history. The festival
is still free of charge for the audience, because of our
generous
sponsors and the municipality of Kaavi.
The first day of Kaavi Blues will be held 5th of June at
the Restaurant Taikapata. The main event will be held at
Kaavi marina on saturday 6th of June. There will be stalls
for buying food and beer so you won´t get hungry or
thirsty.
