Johan Eliasson,
aka Bottleneck John from Sweden is one of the best among
the bottleneck players around in Scandinavia. Bottleneck
John plays mostly 1920's and 30's unpolished, raw delta,
hokum & countryblues and also some spirituals. You can
hear classic tunes from Robert Johnson, Son House, Blind
Willie Johnson, Skip James, Muddy Waters, Bukka White etc.
But just as often his own songs in the genre. Bottleneck
John has played in many countries including Norway,
Denmark, Italy, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany
and USA. As one of the highlights in his career he has
played live in front of nearly one million people in
Swedish national television! Kaavi Blues welcomes him to
Finland for his first time.
